It is like a crazy pearl hidden between everything pearly. The biggest, the most amazing, the spot, the place you just must see. But take some water with you and long pants. Take something for spirits still singing there, and ancient gods, those who wait, sleep…
… watch you.
And come to Torsbo. The biggest, the most amazing place. Hidden between trees, with some water from the bogs…
Some could say it was not luck, but for me, I was lucky to come here, when it was raining. With no sun, just with wind.
Torsbo is not easy to find. There is an old farm and a parking lot but still, we were here alone.
From a parking you will take a not so long walk, you will pass the graves, you will wait, you will have many expectations, and suddenly.
It will be here.
Some of them need some restorations.
Some are still visible thanks to water.
Of course everything is described.
So no worries.
You are safe.
Or only amazed?
Because those carvings are something more. Something longer, something really telling stories.
First you look…
… then you touch the rock – not the carving – and listen. And you are amazed by this greenery, by those trees, by this nature. By everything.
And those colors.
This is why coming here when it rains, is a great idea.
But choose a good boots.
And think… how could they love this place for so long? And create, describe, or just carv for fun?
How could they lie here their parents and grandparents.
Pray and believe.
Think how much more is here. How much more to discover, but…
… are we still Homo sapiens sapiens to get it? Are we?
Look at them? They were here before us. Brave? Or just humans like we are? Scared sometimes, struggling, scared, full of hopes?
Discovering or… wait, where are the fish? I mean really?
Or maybe that was only a book? You know, a chronicle, annals… just a story?
About those who fought, and won, about those who lost?
About hunters and animals.
Because you are nothing without nature…
And without waves.
